Welcome to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will be met by our representative and transported to Sal Salinero Moshi for Overnight, but if you do not have any organized activity in Kilimanjaro, we can transfer you to Gold Crest Hotel Arusha

Day 1: Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park
Non-game viewing  time: 4½ hours
Distance: 206 km
Pick up from Moshi and transfer to Lake Manyara national park. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge/camp or we can take lunch box, and after lunch, we head into the Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive.
This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti Plains
Non-game viewing time: 3 hours
Distance: 134 km
After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro crater
Non-game viewing time: 2¾hours
Distance: 137 km
Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.
After breakfast at the lodge, we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater – Zanzibar Island
Enjoy breakfast, after which you will be transferred to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at the Zanzibar International Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer you to our hotel, where you will have to spend the whole night.

*It is possible to have an additional half day game drive at Ngorongoro conservation area if you are not restricted to early departure time from Moshi, please note additional cost will apply


Day 5: Jozani Forest or Spice Tour and Stone Town
Jozani forest is one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colobus monkey. The forest is 6,207 acres in size and was declared a nature reserve in the 1960′s. Wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible on the pathways. Our guides are also naturalists and nature lovers will have a wonderful time in the nature reserve. They were an endangered species, but numbers have increased in recent years thanks to conservation work by the nature reserve working closely with the local people.
Zanzibar history would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices which are the essential ingredient in a Zanzibar’s everyday life, it is the island’s connection to spices and herbs. this is also a fantastic opportunity to see the countryside and rural areas of Zanzibar and also connect with local people. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in-depth information not only about spices but also organically grown herbs and detailed descriptions about their uses in traditional dishes, as cures for ailments and even for dyeing traditional ceremonial outfits for weddings and festivals. After the tour we invite you for an opulent traditional Swahili lunch served in a local house, here you will get a real taste of the spices in the food.
This is a walking tour that takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the former slave market for East African Slave trade, and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. The architectural style of Stone town buildings is a unique mixture of various influences and culture. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Stone Town has some excellent gifts shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts to choose from. A guided walk through this colourful and alternating city with tour knowledgeable tour guides, who knows not only funny of Stone town but also cruel stories to tell about the life of the old times in Stone town.


Day 6: Departure
Enjoy breakfast, after which you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport to take a flight. Depending on your flight schedule you can catch the flight in Nairobi, Dar es Salaam or Kilimanjaro. The group should tip the guide around $20 a day.
